In its current form a great activity for year 5/6 although very easily adapted for years 3/4. A collection of resources that will be helpful for teaching children the anti-bullying message in higher elementary school classes. I have also included a list of ideas for anti-bullying week which may be of help to your school / class. I have also included a short assembly with the excellent short animation Narrated by Kate Winslet and lots of additional resources. (If this embed in the Powerpoint doesn't work I have included the video file as a link in the notes section and as a file here.) I have included the Mac 'Keynote' version of this resource for those of you that own apple computers. (I originally made it here.) I have also written an example 'anti-bullying letter' example written in shared writing with the children and a 'Dealing with dilemmas' PowerPoint (i.e. what to do in certain situations.) I have always found the website 'Go-Givers' to be excellent. NB I do not claim to own the video sections of this resource.

A set of differentiated worksheets I made where children have to add the two numbers below to get the final brick of the top of the pyramid. The harder worksheets require inverse operations. Fantastic for an activity relating to how additional and subtraction are linked, or reinforcing the concept.

The questions selection is done for you, because each quiz starts easy and gets more difficult towards the end, pitched at the average quizzer, retaining an element of fun. More questions within this quiz are multiple choice for this reason, but to add a further level of difficulty the multiple choice element can merely be excluded whilst questioning. A unique ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ based around ‘Bonfire Night’ in the UK. This can be adapted for ANY topic, includes visuals and sound effects from the programme. I used successfully in a whole class assembly, the staff loved it too! Suitable for Primary.

PART ONE of TWO As this is the first time I have shared content in this format (of which I prefer) I am offering a 75% price reduction for a very limited time! Please note this is 15 YEARS worth of Keynotes made on the mac originally for years 3 and 4 although many have been used in older classes and are easily adaptable. INVALUABLE for anyone with a Mac that uses it for teaching as these are VERY hard to find. (Why I had to make them as I much prefer Keynote.) These took many many hours to make individually. Many incorporate videos and animations within them and some have been used to achieve outstanding observations. For a MacBook / Apple user these are fantastic and many should work on iPad too with Keynote. (Although one or two of the animations may be different and I can't 100% promise all will be formatted perfectly from experience.) Each quiz has 5 sets of 5 questions for participants to answer. Also useful for teachers to use in form time for a point of discussion for older pupils. Great for an introduction back to school or just as a little fun! This quiz was used during a ‘lockdown quiz’ and was designed from scratch.
